There are many excellent churches in our Uniontown area. Finding the one that is right for you will take time and effort but will provide many blessings once you find it. We know that Asbury Church will not be the church for everyone, but for those that it is, finding Asbury Church might change their life forever!

We would like to suggest 6 reasons why you should visit Asbury United Methodist Church.

1) WE'RE ON A MISSION

- To share the Good News of God's love and God's power as revealed ultimately in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- To nurture a community of believers who are equipped as disciples of Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

2) WE'RE PEOPLE ORIENTED

Asbury Church wants to serve! The church is not a building, place, or denomination - the Church is People. Our infants and toddlers are cared for in our nursery; our youth have some of their needs met through our youth programs; we have Sunday School classes for all ages; our United Methodist Women and Men's groups help meet the needs of those in the younger adult to the senior citizen age groups. All these groups(except the nursery) are involved in additional outreach ministries.

3) WE'RE PEOPLE WHO WORSHIP AND STUDY

We offer two worship services on Sunday Morning. The first, which is more informal, meets at 9 a.m. The second service, which is more traditional, meets at 11 a.m. Our Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m.  Sunday evening at 6:00, there is Fellowship and Refreshments followed by Praise and Worship at 6:30.

4) WE'RE A PEOPLE THAT LOVE MUSIC

Our pipe organ and our pianos provide the music as we sing and worship together.The chancel choir lifts our spirits, and ministers to us in worship from September through May. There are several 'special' musical opportunities throughout the year. 

5) WE'RE A PEOPLE THAT BELIEVE EVERYONE HAS A PLACE

Each person is like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece has its place in God's plan. No one piece is optional. How frustrating it would be to put together a 700 piece puzzle only to find one of the pieces missing at the end. That's how God sees us. Every piece is incredibly important!
