Spiritual Growth

From our earliest roots of Methodism, Christians were seen in small groups encouraging one another in the Faith and growing in knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and applying them to every day life.

Spiritual Growth or christian education has always been a priority at Asbury United Methodist Church.  Our congregation is packed with opportunities to learn about and experience the good news of Jesus Christ through bible studies, seminars, small groups, special events and Sunday school (for adults and children).

PRESCHOOLS
Asbury has two growing preschoos.  Many new and exciting changes will be coming in the fall of 2006 as we begin a new school year with new leadership, including Dr. Elwin Dickerson as Director.  Call the church office for registration information.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION:
Asbury is proud to offer diverse Christian educational programming to all ages, from nursery/toddler to adults. We believe that Christian Education does not just happen in a classroom for children; rather it is a a life long journey of life experiences and classrooms!
Each week, Sunday School classes are available for everyone!

Parents and children stay in touch with our Sunday school program by visiting Ashbury's Online Sunday School!  Click on the apple logo to the right.
